Welcome
to Primrose Trout Farm public fishing ponds. One of Ontario Canada’s
longest running public sport fishing pond facilities. Established
in 1982. To fish at Primrose Trout Farm you don’t need a Canadian
fishing license. We hold the license and we will also issue you
a receipt for your fish purchase. At Primrose Trout Farm we offer
bait fishing and fly fishing ponds. Bait fishing is you catch
it you keep it. If your using a fly rod then we have fly fishing
you catch it you can release it ponds. In the winter months we
have a winter pond for fly-fishing catch and release, but you should
email or phone as the weather may be bad out our way. We stock our
fishing ponds with our own farm-raised fish. Our most requested
size is a barbecue sized rainbow trout with an average weight of 1 1/2
to 2 pounds. As you can see from the lab tests that the Ontario
Ministry of Agriculture and Food have done over the years, we have a very
high quality Ontario farm raised fish. Feel free to click on the links
